I don't normally post a raw cut from the press courtesy of Richard Osley of CNJ in his private blog. But I wanted this out ASAP. Putting any branding let alone political branding on a wreath on memorial Sunday is just ignorant and beyond the pale. Do the Camden Lib Dems really think this will win them votes!
Very sad Day for local politics.
This is the blog of Nigel Rumble. A highly respected local Campaigner living and working in the Belsize and Primrose Hill NW3 area, Camden. Who passionately cares about helping and engaging communities on the “Big Issues” that really matter.

Postscript
Elected onto the council of the Bow Group "Think Tank" as Membership Secretary.
Resigned two months later owing to conflict with my political views and beliefs.
Therefore, I have the added honour of being the shortest Membership Secretary in the history of the old Bow Group group!

BOW GROUP AGM Elections Thursday 27 Oct at 6pm
The BOW GROUP - The Time for Change is now. All members please come out and vote at the AGM to help restore respect and the stature that the once most famous 60 year old "Bow Group" held and had been a crucial success in the Margaret Thatcher premiership years.
The Bow group one of the oldest centre right Conservative "Think Tanks" in Britain is now at a crossroad.
Tomorrow is the the AGM and elections for new council. As a well respected campaigner known to most of you, I have been asked and decided to join my colleague Ben Harris-Quninney who is running for position as Chair and myself running for position of Membership Secretary to help put the "Great" back again to the Bow Group Think Tank.
Venue: Queenborough Room, St Stephen’s Club, 34 Queen Anne’s Gate, London, SW1H 9AB. Read my profile and those of the team lead by Ben Harris-Quinney at www.bowforward.com

Mervyn King and the Bank of England
So here we are in 2011 and we have QEII and that is not the cruise liner going on a voyage. But it might as well be one as we learn from Mervyn King that he believes that not only are we headed for a double dip recession but that the problems ahead may be as bad as the Great Depression if not worse!
Clearly, Mr King knows a thing or two about the Economy and need for stability in time of crises.
But I do question his undoubted wisdom this time round; the injection of around £75B over the next four months may be welcome to keep money moving but the doom and gloom of something unimaginable and worse than the Great Depression we do not need.
So if you get a chance to read this Mr King. Try to be just a bit more bullish next time.
