Manchester was and is an excellent host city as was the case back in 2009.CPC11
The feel was different this year for two very obvious reasons, one we are now in Government and have responsibility and that creates a seriousness and state of focus hard to compare to 2009 and the other is the continuing evolution of the Modern Conservative Party.
As a Liberal Conservative I feel very at ease with nearly all aspects of party policy, which is reassuring and has made this years Conference one of the most engaging for me in dealing with the most pressing issues that face us today in Modern Britain.
